Our vision Is a world where women of color receive equity in healthcare and all systemic institutions. An elimination of disparities, biases, and inequities that impact Black and Brown women and communities. An empowered community where people of color and their families can thrive in their culture and experience.
OUR MISSION STATEMENT
Our mission is to advocate and advance racial equality and civil justice for women of color to eliminate disparities, biases & inequities in healthcare, civil rights and other systemic institutions. We seek to improve and enhance the lives and experiences of Black and Brown mother’s maternal health by providing awareness, education, resources, community outreach, and support.
OUR BOARD OF DIRECTORS
Jenna Finley M. Ed.
Jenna N. Finley, M.Ed. is a dynamic and multifaceted educator, who has over 15 years’ experience in Diversity and Inclusion and Early Childhood Education (ECE). Jenna’s professional expertise centers around creating and developing online and or in person training curriculum specific for diversity, equity, and inclusion focused organizations.
She is the Founder & Principal of Value Our Voices (V.O.V.) Consulting, LLC. Jenna is the Primary consultant assisting clients with the ongoing question of how to encourage diverse, equitable, and inclusive practices in their workplace.
Jenna provides thought leadership for the development and implementation of proactive diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) strategies. The impacts of V.O.V. have ranged from mindset shifts, new approaches, policy changes, and practices.
Jenna is the Director of Equity, Inclusion & Culture and Adjunct Professor University of Wisconsin Whitewater.
Troy Dickerson, M.A.
Troy Dickerson joined Google in 2015 and is VP of gTech Strategy, Operations & Workflow Solutions, leading enablement teams including: Business & Outsourcing Strategy & Services, and the Google Operations Center. During her time at Google, Troy has also led several teams within People Operations including: Process Design & Technology, Workday, HR for gTech, HR for People Ops, and the global People Consultant org.
Before joining Google, Troy worked at Ernst & Young as the Americas Talent Leader where she developed and led succession planning strategy to build future leadership talent globally. During her time at Ernst & Young she also held roles as the Director of Mobility Strategy and Operational Effectiveness, Director of Talent Management & Development, and Director of Diversity Strategy & Development.
Prior to EY, Troy was VP Diversity & Community Affairs at Coors Brewing Company, where she created the company’s first corporate social responsibility strategy and led supplier diversity, diversity and inclusion, and corporate social responsibility. Also at Coors, she worked in sales as the Director of Corporate Relations driving market share in the African American community for Coors Light, and was the Director of Human Resources driving critical initiatives around manager effectiveness, talent retention, and labor relations. Troy was also a Director of Human Resources at Sara Lee, a Corporate Site HR Manager at FMC Corp, and a personnel officer at the University of Illinois.
Troy earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Master of Arts in Labor and Industrial Relations from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. She also has a number of certifications including: Human Capital Strategist and Master Strategist in Workforce Planning from the Human Capital Institute, Corporate Community Involvement from Boston College, and Facilitator and Coach from TRACOM Group.
When Troy’s not working, she enjoys spending time with her two sons, working on home renovation and real estate projects, and providing career advice to those in need.Troy is the Vice President of Strategy & Operations Google Inc.
Evelyn Jones B.S.
Evelyn Jones received her undergraduate degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago in Public Health and Policy with a concentration in maternal health and child health.
She currently works for Northwestern University Hospital in Chicago with an emphasis on Neurology. She hopes to dispel the disparities that impact families of color in healthcare and other systemic institutions.
Founder & Executive Director
Bianca Dickerson-Williams
From an early age, Bianca Dickerson Williams had a passion for the law, a deep desire to impact the legal community for justice and wanting to be on the right side of it. She pursued her passion.
Bianca holds a J.D. degree from Western Michigan University - Thomas M. Cooley Law School and is certified in electronic evidence discovery. She has spent her career in the legal profession providing consultative subject matter expertise to clients in companies, law firms, and government agencies involved in controlling and mitigating risk, as well as a variety of legal disputes and investigations.
What Bianca never imagined is that one day she would be waging her own fight for justice, publicly discussing her traumatic experience in the delivery room and a health care system that is stacked against African American and Indigenous mothers.
Bianca is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Incorporated, Inroads Inc. Alumni, and CALIBR-Executive Leadership Council. She lives in the Los Angeles area with her husband and two children who are her greatest achievements.

Women of color face numerous challenges and injustices, including systemic racism, sexism, and other forms of discrimination. They are often disproportionately affected by issues such as poverty, limited access to healthcare, and higher rates of violence and harassment. These issues have serious and lasting impacts on their lives and the lives of their families and communities.
